My target audience is all ages and genders in Sarasota county. Since my magazine is a local magazine, it will only pertain to those in the local area that it applies to. Age and gender is not a factor as all ages participate in sports and both genders as well. The income level will vary depending on the sport, as more wealthy elderly people like golf and tennis, and the younger generation and their parents will be more interested in the football, basketball, and baseball stories. Personal interest will be a major role, as their interest must include sports and local sports updates, as that is what the magazine entails. If it is not one of their vested interests, then they will not pick up the magazine. This magazine will appeal to those interested in sports, or have some type of connection to a sport in the local area, such as a player, a parent, or a fan. This magazine will include updates, insight, helpful information, and inside stories on the sports, along with statistics. This will appeal to my target audience.

The picture on the table of contents was too generic and did not have any action, and I was planning to meet with Carson (the person in all of the pictures) to have another shoot in which I could obtain more photos of him playing. I was hoping to ask him a couple more questions and put more quotes from him into the article. The question I planned to ask were "If golf does not work out, what do you plan to do", "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" and "What professional golfer/ person do you look up to?". These would have created a friendly interaction that the audience could relate ...
